New works on paper

I’ve been working on paper quite a bit recently, mainly in order to enable me to generate ideas quicker. I’ve used ink, water based paints, bleach, photocopies, collage to create different effects.

Really beautiful. Are they inspired by natural forms or other things …?

Some of them are based on photos of fireworks I took a few years back. I’ve also been looking at Japanese art recently, and I used some wave and cloud motifs. A lot of it is improvised mark-making though.
